Call for film and script submissions for the 1st International Epidaurus Film Festival 2022

The 1st International Epidaurus Film Festival (9-12 November 2022) or International Epidavros Film Festival (Διεθνές Φεστιβάλ Κινηματογράφου Επιδαύρου) will take place in Epidavros Municipality, near to the ancient Theatre of Epidaurus, Peloponnese, Greece. 

It is the brainchild of the film and theatre director and writer Christos Prosylis. It is developed and supported by London Greek Film Festival and Acting Code Institute. The project supported also by Epidavros Municipality (Δήμος Επιδαύρου - Δήμαρχος: Τάσος Χρόνης) and Public Benefit Enterprise of the Municipality of Epidaurus (Κοινωφελής Επιχείρηση Δήμου Επιδαύρου - Πρόεδρος: Τριαντάφυλλος Κρέτσης). 

International Epidaurus Film Festival aims to be the international meeting point for modern films and screenplays from across the world. Also, aims to be the international meeting point for modern films, screenplays and theatrical plays (text or video or film documentation) related with ancient Greek drama, from across the world (in collaboration with London Greek Film Festival). 

The festival accepts applications from Greek and International Directors, Screenwriters and Producers from all over the world, with no specific subject in their work. 

In a special section, accepts also applications from Greek and  international Directors, Screenwriters and Producers from all over the world, with work related to ancient Greek drama. 

Film categories: feature fiction, short fiction, documentaries, video art, experimental films, music video, animation. 

Screenplay categories: feature-length fiction, short fiction. 

- English or Greek subtitles are required if the language is not Greek or English.

- The films should have been completed in the last five years.

- Screenplays are accepted in Greek or English.
